In response to the violence at the U.S. Capitol today, Stand Up America Founder and President Sean Eldridge issued the following statement:

“Donald Trump is a threat to our nation and our democracy. Congress must immediately impeach and remove him from office—and every leader should condemn today’s violent insurrection.

“We implore Congress to reconvene as soon as they can safely do so to count the Electoral College votes and certify President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris’s victory.”
