Campaign Targets At Least A Dozen Senators, Including Collins, Murkowski, and Romney SUA Community Has Made Over 50,000 Calls to the Senate Since Trump’s Impeachment

NEW YORK — Stand Up America is today announcing the launch of a six-figure campaign demanding that every senator vote to remove Trump from office. The new campaign will mobilize Stand Up America’s community of 2.5 million people to demand that senators—both Democrats and Republicans—vote to remove Trump after a fair and transparent Senate trial.

Over the coming months, Stand Up America will spend more than $300,000 on digital organizing efforts, to pressure the following senators to convict Trump:

“The Senate fight started the moment Donald Trump was impeached,” said Sean Eldridge, Stand Up America’s Founder and President. “This campaign—coordinated alongside our coalition partners and grassroots activists from across the country—will help mobilize hundreds of thousands of Americans to take action and ensure that senators feel an enormous amount of pressure to stand up for our democracy and remove the criminal in the White House.”

Organizing efforts will include:

• Launching a volunteer-driven peer-to-peer texting campaign using the voter file to drive calls to key senators and educate hundreds of thousands of constituents in several of these states, including Ernst (IA), Gardner (CO), Murkowski (AK), and Romney (UT)

• Mobilizing our community of 2.5 million progressives in every state in the country to make calls to demand a fair Senate trial and Trump’s removal from office

• Driving constituents to visit Senate offices using our VisitThem tool

• Running digital ads targeting national audiences to drive calls to the Senate and educate the public about Trump’s impeachment and the Senate trial

Since launching its campaign to impeach Trump in May 2019, Stand Up America:

• Took a leading role in the more than 600 “Nobody Is Above The Law” rallies attended by 200,000 people the night before Trump’s impeachment, mobilizing Americans in all 50 states alongside dozens of organizations and celebrity partners like:
